The Nigerian National team, the Super Eagles will today lock horns with the Teranger Lions of Senegal in a friendly match at The Hive Barnet FC Stadium, London.
The Eagles had the first full training session in London on Tuesday with new call-ups to the national team.
Kayode Olarenwaju, Noah Bazee, Tyron Ebuehi and Success are the new call-ups and were initiated to the team with each taking a dance step. The initiation was supervised by the other team members who are much senior on national team appearance.
Players in camp include Iheanacho, Balogun, Ekong, Simon, Ndidi, Ahmed Musa, Shehu Abdullahi, Iwobi, Bazee-Noah, Onazi, Ikeme, Success, Awaziem, Tyrone Ebuhehi, John Ogu, Kenneth Omeruo, Victor Moses, Kayode Olanrewaju and Elderson Echiejile.
Nigeria played 16 with Senegal in various competition and friendlies, with Nigeria having the upper hand with 8 wins, 5 draws and 3 losses.
Matches played between the two teams stretch from April, 13 1963 at the French Colonial Tournament where Senegal trash Nigeria 5-1 to the last one at the Nations cup in 2006 where Super Eagles defeat the 1-0.
